The folded seam, also called double seam, is a very strong seam used both for decorative purposes and for making clothes. It is used in particular to make jeans and shirts. 1. Position the two fabrics right sides together, then stitch them 1.5 cm from the edge on which you want to make the folded seam. Open the seam and iron it. 
2. Cut 0.5 cm from one of the edges of the actu: 739845 fabric, then fold the longest edge behind the cut edge so that the latter is enclosed in the first. 
3. Finally, stitch along the folded seam. On the right side, you get two parallel seams.
